The Soul Searcher
This is an internal search that starts after the external search is abandoned. When the searcher acquires enough knowledge about spirituality and meditation techniques the task then commences with an internal search for one’s true identity. During the search they know that one has to forget about the world and outside senses which attracts them away from the source, and by going in they will find the Truth. Nothing outside of their searching is attracting them anymore, and they are dead serious and virtually dead to the world. No matter how bad it is around them they are unresponsive and distant. The searcher has their typical obligations and perform them well, yet they are quite, contemplative and emotionless, unless it's necessary to intervene. You will see them often staring off in a distance or head down minding their own business seemingly preoccupied with something. Ignoring people and most circumstances that otherwise would have them react, they seem antisocial and boring. People might even think that they are depressed or rude by their detached attitude. Yet they are still unperturbed by anything else like an animal hunting a scent. It appears like a complete lack of sympathy or happiness, and they look serious and aren't buying into any beliefs or values with his peers. Like a mathematician working on a complex formula that takes three years to solve, they look mentally busy. After all, it is the ultimate riddle that they are figuring out, and it takes all your concentration and vigilance.
The searcher will be looking for quite out of the way rooms to spend some time in sitting, where people forget about them. They don’t want to look obvious while in public places, so they look quite like they are sleeping, resting or reading a magazine with his eyes closed, but hardly turning the pages. They act normal but quite and shy, and they don’t want to be found out or talk about it. They are continually negating all materialistic and personal values in the mind all the time, drawing away from the mind and ego. No, this is not it, this is not me, I am not this, let me leave this behind, the silent words echo in their mind until they no longer have to think of them. Looking away from the mind is a way of life, and internally backing into the rear most position (meditation) they return there whenever they can, hoping not to miss out on an opportunity. They are the Soul Searcher because they know it can be done, and it is well within their power to achieve liberation if they are resilient and patient. Unnoticeable the search continues in a hot pursuit for the truth, abandoning all desires and fears in the way. Meditating is now the only vice, spirituality and thoughts in general are considered a waste of time, so they keep upping the anti. Now they become too ripe for the tree and letting go is easy, so it happens, and the universe flies from their grip, and Eternity reigns supreme. Having seen home, they now feel at home, and wherever they are they are at home.

I've always had a great longing, but not great enough to engulf everything else. This longing was convenient to think of as for god, but I haven't been able to translate it permanently to any form or even words. So I'm offering it to the universe, infinite and indefinable as it is. I also have an analytical mind and I want to use every god-given resource to find it!
Worship and knowledge. The Gita mentions two more paths, yoga and action without expectations.
I think these blueprint was handed to man by the wisdom of all teachings, but was never put to practise. It is indeed very difficult to trust the universe. But I cannot not try. I cannot imagine not seeking that where I came from.
Also, I had always wanted to know how we're one, more than just theory. The explanations here have made it real for me. Thankyou for making it real.
