The Inactive Zone of High Performance
We can tap into the zone with two inactive techniques as well, which is contemplation and meditation. When we're contemplating, we get epiphanies from out of the blue, like someone handed us the answer. You may recall a time when you were struggling to find an answer to a problem, and sometime in the middle of the night it came to you. This is because the mind is at rest when it’s surrendering and waiting for sleep, the witness emerges from behind the doer and delivers the answer. It could happen anywhere as long as the mind and ego is suspended for a brief moment, as in the shower, you’re feeling the hot water massaging your body, and the mind is automatically suspended, as you feel the wonderful sensations at that moment. The zone is accessed as your attention draws away from narrow thinking areas, and in a flash you figured out the problem. An indescribable euphoric sensation ensues as if there was a lightness of being. In these moments we get close to the source if only for a couple of seconds when we let go and surrender doing. It is like a phone call within to the divinity of pure Awareness at your core and a epiphany is the result. A single track mind with moments of meditative pauses to retract the energy away from the targeted area of the brain to the other end. The energy opens up like an upside down umbrella, and spreads a more subtle and purer energy throughout the brain. Opening up other centers of the mind that were otherwise ignored by the one track mind. This is our 6th sense getting activated, giving it a chance to solve the issue, and with ease and simplicity it does.
In meditation we connect with the zone during prolong periods of thoughtlessness, and when the "Samadhi State" is achieved then one is in the supreme zone. This is the hardest zone to master because of the lack of activity both physical and mental. In this blissful state you are close to the Almighty, and it can result in the supreme union, of the one with the whole, which is the self-realization (enlightenment) of the Soul. The highest and most noble goal that is obtainable by the human spirit. To finally reach home, you finally have a lasting contentment in your life, which can only be had through self-realization. Until we reach that point we are vulnerable and needy, and by playing with concepts we find a way to pacify our desires and fears, but never breaking free from them. Liberated from unwanted desires and fears, controlling the content of the mind, and finding contentment are the rewards, yet very few follow through with it. The carrot dangling in front of us is a pot of gold that never wears out, and is free from damage or theft, all that in needed is a nonstop work ethic. Something you have shown in your life, it’s like getting a degree in three cramped years of studying. But it doesn’t cost you anything except time and diligence, yet for some reason I hardly see anyone seriously trying. Most are doing what we have been trained to do and nothing more, we keep on accumulating knowledge and dispensing it with pride, and little work towards our own Self-discovery. Dealing in appearances and betting with conceptual chips is dealing with fools gold that is always being traded, lost, over stocked, and devalued. All who pass by either trash it, pass it, dilute it, or keep it, and in the process we loose our personal value with it. Finding the Samadhi zone turns fools gold to nothing and nothing into to a pot of gold. This zone is a direct descendant of Absolute Awareness, its closes saintly relative, while the other active zone is a distant relative, and the ego/mind a married dictating partner, which is further yet. The active and inactive contemplation zone there is movement and energy being used in the process, and in the meditation zone you are distancing yourself from energy altogether. In Samadhi meditation your in a state of pure being without the witnessing of any energy sensations in the body and mind.
