Maturity After Enlightenment
Patients is a virtue that matures with time, likewise enlightenment is an experience that continues to mature by purifying the body and mind in time. The event (enlightenment) itself is sudden and identity altering, but the body and mind mature or get subtly refined over the course of a lifetime. Deep imprints surface and dissolve in a natural formula of noninvolvement. The new norm is the ultimate liquefier of buildups and all imprints eventually fall prey to it. Life is a process that doesn’t end with success but continues to revolve around polar opposites. As long as life is to be lived ones body and mind must invariably move with the tide and feel the pains and pleasures as they arrive. This is a process that's relentless, but one can stand back and watch consciousness (energy) cycle without identifying with the process that alters it. Just as you laugh at a joke, an enlightened one may show emotions and cry, however it is short lived, like the laugh was after the joke, and you return to the normal background position. Although after enlightenment one watches from a new distance, which saves them from extremes, but it also barely moves the excitement meter. The sudden lost of worldly desires and fears have altered the meter to only move when discussing spirituality, so you enjoy being, in balance and observing. Watching and allowing the body consciousness to flow freely and smoothly as possible in mind silent repose. Also, you watch the drama of life unfold in a similar fashion by allowing it the freedom of expression without taking the drama personally. However, there always comes a time when one has to react unfavorably to hold boundaries or to break down barriers in others. Not pursuing happiness or fearing pain in a equanimity of existence turns out to be yours and everyone's natural life. You realize wasting time is life and time not wasted is spirituality. So, you try to help as much as possible, but unfortunately most are not interested in spiritual process and good receivers are hard to find. Their life being buried in the quick sand of change they never think twice about the changeless until it’s too late. The power through maturity after realization is a natural process that erases a lifetime of programmed experiences. As one ages the clear clarity of pure consciousness disintegrates predispositions making the elder sages purer and more powerful to act God like then in the early stages. The more years the sage has under his belt after Realization the more perfect their repose is.
